About Us

We (Justin and Melissa) have been married for 10+ years and have been blessed with 5 amazing kids. Melissa spent many years of her childhood on farms and had the desire to move back onto a farm after many years of city life. Justin rolled with the idea and the search began for an acreage!

In the summer of 2017,we bought an acreage right outside of Omaha. We inherited lots of chickens and quickly added lots more animals. The property already had a 1/2 acre strawberry patch and a huge garden area, not to mention a few extra acres of farm-able land.

Melissa left the medical transcription field after 10+ years and started to grow microgreens and tend to the farm.  Justin works from home for an engineering firm and does gardening and handy-man stuff around the farm in his downtime.

We've been a homeschooling family since 2014 and the kids are a huge part of the farm -- from animal chores to harvesting veggies from the garden -- we're all living our best lives!
